Monthly Meetings
Every month TMOTT members gather together for a general meeting. Club business is discussed and a presentation from a speaker on a relevant topic is presented. Members are given the opportunity to socialize and meet other moms for friendship and support. For more information on our monthly meetings, please visit our Meetings page.
Outreach (Question & Answer programs)
Our Outreach programs offer parents an open forum to discuss concerns and seek support from other TMOTT members. Our traditional Outreach program is especially for our new and pregnant parents of multiples, while our Experienced MOM Outreach program targets parents with school-aged multiples and beyond. While the Buddy program matches members up with other members for one-on-one relationships, the Outreach programs offer the support of a group of members who can offer multiple approaches to specific concerns. For more information on our Outreach programs, please visit our Meetings page.
Newsletters
TMOTT publishes a monthly newsletter that keeps members informed of club events, announcements, and needs. The newsletter lists all new members and new births so that they may be welcomed into the club. There are advertising opportunities in the newsletter for classifieds and businesses, contact the newsletter editor for details.
Members Only Website
TMOTT members are given a username & password to log into our Members Only Website. This website contains all the details on what is going on in TMOTT and the programs/services it provides. The website includes a calendar with all club events listed. The website also includes reference material such as a list of Kids Eat Free restaurants, a list of Freebies for Families of Multiples, Child Care references, and Useful Phone Numbers. Also, members and their spouses can advertise their business for free in our Member Owned Business list.
Discussion Forums
TMOTT has a very active forums board, with 300 members currently subscribed. Members can discuss questions, answers, and advice with other members. There is a wide array of forum subjects. Some of the forums are geared towards the unique situation of having multiples and are broken down by the age of the children... Pregnancy, The First Year, Toddler Years, and School Age Years. Other forums cover other areas of interest to TMOTT members... Working Outside the Home, Area Recommendations & Referrals, Coupons & Discounts, Book Club. There is also a forum where members can advertise their FOR SALE items.
Children's Clothing & Equipment Sale
TMOTT holds their consignment sales twice a year. The Spring/Summer sale is in March, the Fall/Winter sale is in August. TMOTT members can sell at the sale and can shop on Friday night of the sale. The sale is open to the public on Saturday. For more information on our sale, please visit our C&E Sale page.
Buddy Program
TMOTT's Buddy Program pairs up a new mom with an experienced member to answer questions and help guide the new mom through the transition of becoming a mother of multiples. This is a one-on-one relationship. Often the moms are paired up based on commonalities such as preemies, identical vs fraternal, bedrest, breastfeeding, etc.
Stroller Days
Twice a month TMOTT members gather together at local parks or malls to push their strollers for a walk, socialize, and then have lunch. This is always a great opportunity for new moms to first take out their new babies on their own and get comfortable handling the logistics of caring for multiples in public.
Socials
TMOTT holds many socials each year. There are family socials such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Cookies with Santa, and the Halloween Party. Some socials are just for the moms, such as Moms Night Out's at restaurants and our annual Beach Trip to Myrtle Beach.
Preemie Closet
TMOTT has a preemie-sized clothing lending service available to all members. Members can save money by borrowing some preemie clothes for the duration they are needed.
Care & Share
TMOTT's Care & Share program is a support network that divides the club into more manageably sized geographic areas. Local welcomers contact all new TMOTT members in their area and provide knowledge of the benefits of TMOTT membership. The local welcomers also recruit volunteers in their area to make meals for new moms or offer respite care.
For Sale / Want to Buy Classifieds
Members can advertise their For Sale / Want to Buy items for free in the discussion forums and in the newsletter.
Member Support
TMOTT's Member Support program maintains a list of experienced TMOTT members who have been through situations and are willing to talk to other members who are encountering similiar situations and have questions.
Member Services
TMOTT's Member Services program helps members who need assistance with the financial adjustment when multiple children are born, or have a major financial change (loss of job, serious illness, spouse called up for military duty, etc.)
Playgroups
Members can use the discussion forums to connect with other moms and set up a playdate or playgroup for their children.
